My Bangkok Happy Places!

So my trip has been over for over a month, and I still think about Thailand everyday. This place really left an amazing impression with me, and I hope to one day go back and enjoy more of what the land of smiles has to offer.

So here are pictures of my happy places in Bangkok... The gold picture, was taken at the Grand Palace. What an amazing place, and even if you aren't into history and architecture, you will love the Grand Palace. The picture next to it, is of Health Land, it is an amazing Spa right around the corner from the Amarin Mansion (49/2 soi. Arunamarin39 BangkoknoiBangkok, Thailand, 10700) - which was another very happy place, but I don't have good pictures to share!

The following picture is of the hotel pool at the Centre Point Silom Hotel in Bangkok... what a great place to stay and relax yet still enjoy the hustle and bustle that is Bangkok!
The last picture is of MBK, my favorite mall in Bangkok. They have so many shops that I had to go back a few times to really get to see it all! Because of this mall, those in Ottawa just don't cut it... also the whole fixed price on everything here in Canadaland is just not fair!

In my next few posts I will be posting about Koh Phi Phi!

Why Keech and I would make excellent Movie cirtics!

Keech is an old friend who always has 2 cents to share while we discuss movies, here are his thoughts for a few:

2012 is so much cheese, but not even the good cheese, it's the cheese whiz of cheese movies, but...if your going to see said whiz, it would be best to watch it on the big screen.

Christmas Carol 3D, i need to say, i cheated on you, and watched with Jen. it was ok, i don't know what to say other then the 3D was great, and animation top notch, but still, it's the same old story i've seen 700 times, and if you not doing that much different, whats the point. I can think of better Christmas Carol movies (cough Muppets cough), even without the extra D, not really gonna recommend it. Of all the 3D movies we've seen, this one is prob last on my list.
Ninja Assassin - all i can say is.....i love ninja's, i will not apologize for my love of ninja's, ninja's(or is it ninji), but i can count on 1 hand(that's missing some fingers) the number of great ninja movies out there....so i am scepital of this one(used alot of special effects...ninja's and special effects are 2 things that don't need to go together, like.....banana's and ham, sure they can go together, but...why?
I don't really know what else is out there, saw another trailer for Sherlock Holmes and ....Sold, it likes like a smarter...more actiony version of snatch. and possibly the Avatar movie, trailer was ok, but saw trailer in 3D, wow, looked 10 times better.

Well if this post gets comments it may help Keech become motivated to start writing with me!! I can only hope!!
